Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Foodco Holding posted a 39.2% increase in profits for the first six months of the year ended 30 June 2015 reaching AED 41.66 million ($11.34 million), up from AED 30 million ($8.17 million) in the same period in 2014, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.

As for the second quarter, the food-and-beverage firm recorded growth of 134.6% to AED 9.77 million compared to AED 4.16 million in Q2-14.

Foodco previously posted a net profit of AED 31.9 million in Q1-15, a rise of 23.6% from AED 25.8 million in the same period last year.
